Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Moisture and Air Quality Concerns in Basement, Gloucester, MA
A homeowner in Gloucester, Massachusetts, had lived in their home for the past 50 years. They have ledge in their basement that had been allowing moisture into their basement for years. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection and our design specialist recommended installing Foamax and a SaniDry into the basement to reduce the moisture in the basement and improved the air quality.
Our production team began by marking the area that will be covered with Foamax. The foam will cover 65' over the ledge in the basement. The team cut pieces of foam to fit against the wall and ensure a tight fit that will prevent moisture from seeping into the basement. Once all of the Foamax was installed, the team then used spray foam to seal the edges of the foam. Once the foam was done the team installed the SaniDry Dehumidifier into the basement to control the humidity in the basement.
