A homeowner in Dover, New Hampshire had built this home in 1990. They have lived in the home for over 30 years and in late 2021 they noticed water entering their basement. The water has left the foundation wall looking unsightly so the homeowner decided to call EFS for a free inspection. Our design specialist Jason examined where the water was entering the basement and recommended installing FlexiSpan over where the water was entering.
Our Crew Leader Anthony began by taping around the affected area. Then he chipped out some concrete at the base of the wall to create a drainage point for the FlexiSpan. After he chipped out the concrete, Anthony then laid the FlexiSpan over where the water was entering the basement. The FlexiSpan will collect the water in a channel and guide it down a drain. Once the FlexiSpan membrane was installed, Anthony then poured some crushed stone into where the drain was, then he tied in the FlexiSpan in with the drainage, and lastly mixed some concrete to seal it up.
