Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Water Entering Finished Basement, North Chelmsford, MA
A homeowner in North Chelmsford, Massachusetts, had experienced water coming into their finished basement over the past couple of years. The carpet had been ruined and they wanted to stop the basement from leaking and seal the crack. Our design specialist examined the basement and took measurements of the basement. The specialist recommended installing a waterproofing system on the affected side of the basement and sealing the crack in the basement.
Our production team ripped up the carpet and removed the drywall so they could chip out concrete to install the WaterGuard at the bottom of the wall. The WaterGuard connected to an UltraSump that was installed in a closet. From the UltraSump, the team ran a drainage line out of the basement to the exterior of the home. An IceGuard is connected to the drainage line to prevent the line from overflowing back into the basement.
