Flooded Finished Basement, Nashua, NH

A homeowner from Nashua, New Hampshire had his finished basement ruined after the basement flooded. Water made its way through the foundation, ruining walls, floors, and personal belongings. Wanting to repair the living space, this homeowner knew he had to start by waterproofing the basement.

Anthony Brancato, one of our Design Specialists, went out to the home to provide a free inspection. He recommended installing WaterGuard perimeter drainage and our TripleSafe sump pump system. This waterproofing system collects water at the perimeter of the basement and delivers it to the sump pump, which then pumps the water out of the home through an exterior drainage line. Our crew chipped out concrete to create a basin for the sump pump to sit in, and along the foundation border for the WaterGuard system. Once these systems were installed, they were cemented into place. The exterior drainage line was then installed and buried in a safe location outside of the home. Our IceGuard mechanism was installed to the exterior drainage line to prevent freezing, eliminating the risk of another flood.

With all systems in place, a waterproofed basement has been created. The homeowner can now rebuild his finished basement with peace of mind that the basement will stay dry.
