SmartJack Footing
Concrete in the basement floor was chipped out where SmartJacks were to be installed to create a footing for the galvanized steel plates.
SmartJack Plates
The SmartJack plates are placed into the footing and connected to the SmartJack posts.
Supplemental Beam
A supplemental beam was installed to the basement ceiling. Once the SmartJacks are installed to the supplemental beam, they are adjusted to a height that not only stabilizes but also raises the floors. This is done by supporting joists and raising them back to their intended level.
SmartJack Finished Installation
SmartJacks were also installed to the main support beam. Once installed, they are cemented in place, ensuring ultimate stabilization. Now, the once sagging floors in the home are supported, raised, and level. SmartJack is an adjustable floor stabilization system, allowing floors to remain stabilized should any settlement of the home occur.
