Old Sump Pump
Despite already having a sump pump installed, water seepage through the home's foundation still occurred. In order to protect the basement for when the space is finished, these homeowners needed a reliable sump pump that they knew would keep the basement dry at all times.
Sump Pump with Battery Backup
The TripleSafe Sump Pump system offers around the clock protection from basement leaks and floods thanks to its three-pump system including the battery-operated backup pump. The basin is constructed two feet under the foundation, allowing water to be collected at the lowest point. As water enters the basin, the pumps activate accordingly depending on how much water fills in. The primary pump removes standard water levels, while the secondary pump kicks in during events such as heavy rains or snowmelt. The battery-backup pump can be relied on during power outages.
Frozen Discharge Line Prevention
The water that is collected by the sump pump is removed from the basement through a discharge line. IceGuard is installed on the exterior of the home to allow water to flow freely despite freezing temperatures. This prevents the discharge line from potentially backing up and flooding the basement.
Bubbler Pot
A bubbler was installed to the discharge line to better absorb water into the soil. This prevents water pooling on the lawn's surface.
