Broken Sump Pump
The sump pump previously installed in the home lacked the capability to collect and remove water from the home, resulting in constant basement leaks.
Basement Wall Seepage
Water also seeped through the fieldstone foundation wall. This made the basement space humid, inviting mold growth.
Basement Wall Encapsulation with Vapor Barrier
Our CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed to the leaky foundation wall to prevent moisture from seeping through. This prevents excessive moisture from entering the basement space. Moisture that is collected by CleanSpace drains directly into our WaterGuard perimeter drainage system.
Interior Basement Drainage System
WaterGuard collects water from surrounding wet soils before it is able to access the basement space. The water collected is then distributed to the sump pump so it can be removed from the home. Once installed and tested, the system is cemented in place.
New Sump Pump
The TripleSafe Sump Pump system was installed to ensure that waters of varying levels will be constantly pumped out of the basement. We guarantee this with our three-pump system, composed of a primary, secondary, and battery-powered backup pump.
Effective Discharge Line
The water is removed from the home through a discharge line. As the discharge line reaches the exterior of the home, IceGuard is installed to prevent freezing and potential backups during winter weather. A LawnScape was also installed to the end of the discharge line to prevent clogs and puddling on the lawn's surface. Lastly, the discharge line is buried to preserve the lawn's curb appeal.
