Exterior Foundation Damage
Notice the cracks in the exterior of the foundation wall. This is an alarming sign that the structure may be failing.
Interior Foundation Wall Damage
The foundation wall had cracked and started to separate from the foundation floor. This is another signal that the garage was facing structural integrity concerns.
Interior Garage Trenching
Our production crew chipped up concrete and excavated a cross-shaped trench under the foundation floor to account for where the GeoLock Wall Anchors for both walls will be installed.
GeoLock Rods
Steel rods were drilled from the exterior of the foundation underneath the garage's foundation into durable soil.
GeoLock Anchors
Once the rods were drilled into the excavated area, our GeoLock Wall anchors were attached to the end of them, and fastened into the durable soil.
GeoLock Plates
Once the anchors were installed, the GeoLock plates were tightened to the exterior of the foundation, creating stabilization for the walls.
Backfill
With the system successfully installed, the soil that was previously remove was then backfilled.
Concrete Finish
We at Erickson Foundations make it our mission to ensure the job site is just as clean if not cleaner than when we arrive. To complete this project, we concreted the area that was excavated.
