Failing Sump Pump
The sump pump previously installed in the home was unable to capture all the water that infiltrated the basement during heavy rains or snowmelt.
Interior Basement Drainage System
WaterGuard collects water at the perimeter of the foundation before being exposed to the basement. Concrete along the foundation wall was chipped out. WaterGuard was installed within crushed stone, ensuring proper flow to the TripleSafe Sump Pump's basin.
Interior French Drain Cemented in Place
After the installation of WaterGuard, the system is cemented in place. Our installation crews place an emphasis on having a keen eye for detail to ensure the basement floor is level.
Drainage System Tying into Sump Pump
This photo showcases how water that is collected from WaterGuard is channeled into the sump pump's basin.
TripleSafe Sump Pump
As water is received by the TripleSafe, it is met by a trio of pumps. These pumps activate accordingly to ensure that water is pumped out of the house before filling up the basin. One of these pumps is battery-operated, which means that the basement is protected from water intrusion at all times, even during power outages!
Interior Discharge Line Cored Through Foundation
Water is pumped out of the home through a discharge line. The discharge line was constructed from the TripleSafe and then cored through the foundation wall.
Frozen Discharge Line Prevention
As the discharge line reaches the exterior of the home, IceGuard allows the water to flow freely at all times, most importantly during those harsh winters. With a foolproof system that prevents the line from backing up, homeowners can rest assured that their basement won't flood as a result.
Effective Water Drainage
A bubbler pot was installed to the end of the discharge line, effectively dispersing water. This prevents water from pooling on the lawn's surface.
Discharge Line Burial
With all systems installed, the discharge line is buried, preserving the lawn's curb appeal.
