Collecting Water Along the Perimeter of the Basement
WaterGuard was installed along the perimeter of the basement. This waterproofing system is designed to intercept water at the foundation before entering the basement. It is then routed to the sump pump's basin to be pumped out of the home.
Waterproofing Around Basement Utilities
WaterGuard is not able to be installed in some areas, such as immovable utilities. In these scenarios, we utilize our TrenchDrain surface drainage system. TrenchDrain still has the ability to collect water, while also connecting to the WaterGuard system. This forms a direct path for water to filter to the sump pump.
Removing Water from the Basement
Our TripleSafe Sump Pump system is composed of three pumps. As water enters its basin, these pumps activate accordingly to ensure water is removed from the home. One of these pumps is battery-operated, which allows the TripleSafe to safeguard the basement in the event of power outages.
Safely Discarding Water Away from the Home
Water exits the home through a discharge line. IceGuard is installed to the discharge line to allow water to flow freely despite freezing temperatures. This further guarantees that the basement won't flood, as the possibility of a backup in the line is averted. A bubbler pot was installed to the end of the discharge line to prevent puddling on the lawn's surface. Once installed, the discharge line was buried to preserve the home's curb appeal.
