Radon Extraction Point
We drilled through the foundation floor to create an extraction point. PVC pipe was then constructed up and out of the basement. The extraction point was then sealed tight, ensuring radon would not seep through any cracks or holes.
Radon Fan
Once the pipe reached the exterior of the home, the radon fan was connected to it. This fan is designed to draw radon from the soil underneath the home's foundation. More PVC pipe was constructed to release radon gas above the roofline away from any entrance points to the home.
Radon Monometer
Our radon mitigation system comes with a monometer, which shows how effective the fan is at suctioning radon from underneath the home. Having a visual representation of the system working offers additional peace of mind that the home is safe from radon gas.
