Interior French Drain
The perimeter of the basement was chipped out to allow space for our WaterGuard system. WaterGuard collects water before allowing it to access the basement. This drainage system is set within crushed stone to facilitate a downward flow of water collected to the sump pump.
Basement Surface Drainage System
TrenchDrain was installed on the surface of the basement floor. This drainage system is installed where WaterGuard is not feasible, such as around this oil tank. TrenchDrain connects to WaterGuard, making one large drainage system.
TripleSafe Sump Pump System
The TripleSafe Sump Pump is composed of three pumps, including a battery-powered backup pump, to ensure that water is removed from the home at all times, even power outages! As water enters the sump pump's basin, these pumps activate according to how much water is in the basin.
Second Sump Pump
Due to how large the area of the basement is, two TripleSafe Sump Pumps were installed. After all of these systems are installed, they are cemented in place.
Interior Discharge Line
Water is removed from the home through a discharge line. We cored the discharge line through the foundation to the exterior of the home.
Exterior Discharge Line with IceGuard
As the discharge line reaches the exterior of the home, IceGuard is attached to prevent the line from freezing. This gives additional peace of mind that the system will not get backed up and flood the basement.
LawnScape
The LawnScape is installed to the end of the discharge line to prevent water from pooling on the lawn's surface. Once installed, the discharge line is buried to preserve the lawn's aesthetic appeal.
