IceGuard, seen at the top of the photo, was installed to the discharge line to allow water to flow freely in freezing temperatures, thus eliminating fear of buildup and flooding occurring. The discharge line is then buried underground to preserve the lawn's aesthetic. For these homeowners, the discharge line was installed through a brick walkway.
