Radon Extraction Point
An extraction point was made in the foundation floor. PVC pipe was then constructed from that extraction point to the exterior of the home. This system is designed to be air-tight, ensuring that radon is not present in the home.
Additional Radon Extraction Point
With multiple additions to the home, another extraction point in the finished basement was installed. This section ties into the other PVC pipe before reaching the exterior of the home.
Radon Fan
Once the pipe reaches the exterior of the home, our radon fan is installed to it. The fan is designed to draw radon gas from the soil beneath the home's foundation, and releases it a safe distance above the roofline. Our moisture guard was installed to the radon fan to prevent water from disrupting the system.
Radon Monometer
The radon monometer measures the amount of suction the radon fan draws from underneath the foundation of the home. When the arrow is within the green box, homeowners can rest assured that their radon system is operating properly.
