New Sump Pump
The TripleSafe Sump Pump was installed at the lowest point of the basement to facilitate a downwards flow of water into the sump basin. As water fills the basin, a series of three pumps is available to remove water from the home. This includes a battery-powered backup pump, which activates during emergency situations such as a power outage.
Preventing Discharge Line Backups
The TripleSafe Sump Pump removes water from the home through a discharge line. IceGuard is installed to the discharge line to allow water to flow freely during freezing temperatures or in the off chance that the line becomes clogged. This eliminates the possibility of the discharge line getting backed up and causing water in the sump basin to overflow, therefore preventing basement floods.
Discharge Line Burial
Once installed to a location that slopes downwards away from the home so that water does not return, the discharge line is buried to preserve curb appeal.
