Old Sump Pump System
The outdated sump pump system had ceased to safeguard the home against water intrusion, rendering the basement vulnerable to potential damage.
New Sump Pump System
A small section of concrete from the foundation floor was removed to create space for the installation of our TripleSafe sump pump. Subsequently, a deep basin was excavated to enable water collection beneath the foundation. The TripleSafe provides three levels of protection: a primary pump, a secondary pump, and a battery backup pump, ensuring uninterrupted defense against water intrusion, even in the event of power failures.
Sump Pump Secured in Concrete
After testing the system, the TripleSafe sump pump was cemented in place.
Installing Discharge Line in Finished Space
A discharge line was connected to the sump pump, providing a route for water to be expelled from the house. Thanks to the expertise of our production crew, they managed to install the discharge line through the home's foundation without any harm to the finished basement.
Exterior Discharge Line with IceGuard
IceGuard is installed where the discharge line exits the home. It ensures that the discharge line does not freeze in cold temperatures by allowing water to escape, which prevents the line from backing up and the basin from overflowing, thereby averting potential basement flooding.
Bubbler Pot
The discharge line is strategically buried in an area that slopes away from the house, thus averting persistent problems. At the end of the discharge line, a bubbler pot has been installed and surrounded by crushed stone. This setup prevents water from gathering on the ground's surface, ensuring that these lovely flowers get the water they need.
