Basement Drainage System
WaterGuard has been installed around the foundation's perimeter to intercept water before it can enter the basement. The water that WaterGuard collects is subsequently directed to the sump pump.
Basement Surface Drainage
In areas with stationary appliances, TrenchDrain has been implemented. Instead of gathering water around the basement's perimeter, it captures water directly on the floor surface. TrenchDrain is linked to the WaterGuard system, creating a singular route for water to travel to the sump pump.
Drainage System Connected to Sump Pump
Our TrenchDrain system was also installed at the bulkhead entrance, which connects to the sump basin. As water flows into the basin from the drainage system, a trio of pumps is triggered based on the volume of incoming water. This system includes a battery-powered backup pump to guarantee that the basement remains dry at all times, even during power outages.
Discharge Line with Bubbler Pot
Water is removed from the home through a discharge line. At the end of the discharge line, a bubbler pot was installed. This allows water to effectively absorb into the ground without pooling on the lawn's surface.
Discharge Line Burial and IceGuard
IceGuard was fitted onto the discharge line where it exits the house, ensuring water can flow even in freezing temperatures and preventing backups that could flood the basement. The line was subsequently buried to maintain the lawn's aesthetic appeal.
