Basement Drainage System
WaterGuard has been installed around the foundation's perimeter to intercept water before it reaches the basement. The collected water is then directed to the sump pump.
Surface Drainage Around Utilities
The TrenchDrain surface drainage system has been installed surrounding immovable utilities. It is linked to the WaterGuard system, forming a singular route for water to flow towards the sump pump.
Feed Line
Given the basement's layout, a feed line was installed to route water more efficiently to the sump pump.
Basement Drainage System Tied to Sump Pump
Once the WaterGuard system channels water into the sump basin, a pump is triggered to expel water from the home. In the event of heavy storms or rapid snowmelt leading to increased water accumulation, a secondary pump is engaged to prevent the basin from overflowing. Additionally, the TripleSafe system includes a battery backup pump, guaranteeing the removal of water even in the event of a power failure.
Preventing Frozen Discharge Lines with IceGuard
Water is expelled from the home via a discharge line. IceGuard is affixed to this line outside the home, ensuring water can escape even in freezing conditions. The line is subsequently buried to maintain the aesthetic of the lawn.
