Old Sump Pump
The sump pump depicted in the photograph failed to capture all the water from the high water table surrounding the home's foundation.
Installing Basement Drainage System
The concrete perimeter of the foundation was excavated to create space for the installation of WaterGuard.
Drainage System Finished Installation
Once the WaterGuard system is installed, it undergoes testing to confirm that the water it collects is correctly directed to the sump pump. WaterGuard is designed to intercept water from the surrounding damp soil before it reaches the finished area.
Preparing to Install Surface Drainage System
To install the TrenchDrain surface drainage system, the concrete near the closet was removed.
Surface Drainage System Finished Install
TrenchDrain has been installed within the foundation in front of the closet because WaterGuard installation was not feasible there. TrenchDrain gathers water from the foundation's surface and interior, and it links to WaterGuard, forming a unified pathway for water to travel towards the sump basin.
Finished Basement Wall Demolition
The bottom section of the drywall was taken out to put in the WaterGuard system. Knowing this process generates dust, we made sure to protect stored items with plastic coverings.
Perimeter Drainage System Connected to Sump Pump
The photograph depicts the WaterGuard system connected to the sump pump basin. When water accumulates in this basin, the triple-pump system is triggered to expel water from the residence.
TripleSafe Sump Pump
The TripleSafe system, featuring a trio of pumps and a battery-operated backup, ensures continuous water evacuation from your home, even amidst heavy rainfall and electrical outages.
