Drainage System and Sump Pump Installation
WaterGuard perimeter drainage has been installed along the foundation walls to intercept any water before it can enter the basement. Our TrenchDrain surface drainage system has been installed around the oil tank, which connect to WaterGuard, forming a unified pathway for water to flow towards the sump pump. The UltraSump sump pump then expels the water from the property via a discharge line.
Frozen Discharge Line Prevention
As the discharge line is plumbed to the exterior of the home, IceGuard is installed to prevent the discharge line from freezing in cold temperatures.
Discharge Line Placement with Bubbler Pot
The discharge line is directed towards a downward slope on the lawn to prevent water from flowing back towards the house. Additionally, a bubbler pot is installed at the end of the discharge line to avoid water accumulation on the surface of the lawn. Finally, the discharge line is buried to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the property.
