Surface Drainage System
TrenchDrain, a type of WaterGuard serving as a surface drainage system, has been installed at the garage entrance. It is designed to collect water during heavy rainfall.
Feed Line Installation
To ensure optimal delivery of water collected by TrenchDrain, a feed line has been installed to channel the collected water to the sump pump.
Perimeter Drainage System
WaterGuard has been installed around the garage's foundation perimeter to prevent water from seeping through. This system intercepts water before it reaches the garage and channels it to the sump pump, ensuring that the garage remains dry.
Connecting Surface and Perimeter Drainage
TrenchDrain and WaterGuard are connected to create a seamless water flow towards the sump pump. After confirming that the water flows correctly to the sump pump, the drainage systems are then permanently cemented into position.
Removing Water From the Garage
Once water enters the sump pump's basin, the triple-pump system guarantees continuous water removal from the home. Included in this system is a battery-operated backup pump, which ensures that water will still be evacuated from the home during a power outage.
Discharge Line Placement
Water that accumulates in the garage is removed via a discharge line. This line, integrated with our LawnScape system, is positioned on a downward slope to prevent water from pooling on the lawn. Once installed, the discharge line is buried. Our installation team is dedicated to preserving the visual appeal of the lawn while implementing this system.
