Radon Extraction Point
The team initiated the project by establishing an extraction point in the foundation's floor. PVC pipe was then secured to the opening, extending to the outside of the house. This setup enables the safe suction of radon from beneath the home.
Coring Through Home's Siding
The installation crew cored through the home's siding, allowing the PVC pipe to exit the interior of the basement.
Radon Fan Installation
Once the PVC pipe extends outside the home, the radon fan can be installed. Subsequently, additional piping is attached to the fan, extending above the roofline to prevent exposure to radon gas within the home.
Basement Crack Repair
Sealing cracks in a home's foundation is crucial, as they can serve as entry points for radon gas. We utilized NexusPro, a durable silicone-based sealant, to address these cracks and joints effectively.
Basement Dehumidifier
The homeowners aimed to prevent moisture accumulation in their basement. To address this, we installed a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to control the humidity levels. As a result, the basement remains protected from mold and other toxins, ensuring that cleaner air circulates throughout the house.
