Sump Pump Before Adding Perimeter Drainage System
Before adding perimeter drainage to the basement, some water surrounding the home's foundation would be captured before being exposed to the basement, but not all of it. This led to water intrusion, putting stored items in the basement at risk.
Basement Perimeter Drainage
WaterGuard has been installed around the basement's perimeter to intercept water from every direction, collecting moisture from the adjacent wet soil before it can damage the basement walls and floor.
TrenchDrain Basement Surface Drainage
TrenchDrain has been installed around stationary objects in the basement, including the oil tank and other utilities. This design ensures water is still collected and directed along a single pathway towards the sump pump.
Basement Drainage System Installed to Sump Pump
In this photo, it is shown how TrenchDrain is also installed in front of the bulkhead entrance, collecting any water that may enter from that location. The perimeter drainage system has also been connected to the sump pump, ensuring that water is never exposed to the basement, channeled to the sump pump, and then removed from the home. This gives the homeowner peace of mind that their basement will remain dry.
