Concrete Removal for SmartJacks
Square sections of concrete were removed from the foundation floor to make room for the installation of SmartJacks.
Debris Removal
After chipping out the concrete, a 12-inch hole is dug out in order to ensure proper support.
Temporary Jacks
In order to remove the previously installed support columns, temp jacks were used to support the above floor.
Installing SmartJacks
SmartJacks, which rest on a solid base and are constructed from galvanized steel, provide greater support than traditional support columns.
Cementing SmartJacks in Place
Once installed, SmartJacks are cemented into the foundation to provide additional support.
Adjustable to Joists
The SmartJack is adjustable, meaning any future issues can quickly be resolved.
