Support Jack Failing to Support Floor
The Lally columns in the house were not adequately supporting the floors above the foundation, raising concerns for the homeowner.
Removing Failing Lally Columns
Lally columns that contributed to failing floors in the area were removed. In their place, temporary support jacks were set up to stabilize the floors during the installation of SmartJacks.
SmartJack Strudy Base
Our installation team excavated the foundation floor in the designated areas for SmartJack installation. This process enables the placement of galvanized plates on a bed of crushed stone, ensuring a solid base for optimal support.
SmartJack Completed Installation
The SmartJack posts, once attached to the supplemental beam and steel plates, are cemented into position. Seven SmartJacks were installed across the basement, providing immediate stabilization to the home's floors. This installation offers the homeowner the assurance that their residence is secure and well-supported.
