Wall Demo and Concrete Chipping
In order for WaterGuard to be installed, the lower portion of the drywall in the basement needs to be removed. This allows access to the perimeter of the foundation wall, which is chipped out so WaterGuard can be put in place.
WaterGuard Finished Install
After testing the WaterGuard to confirm the correct water flow to the sump basin, the system is cemented into position.
TrenchDrain Finished Install
TrenchDrain is connected to the WaterGuard system, facilitating the flow of water towards the sump basin. It serves as a solution in areas where WaterGuard cannot be accessed. In this particular basement, TrenchDrain has been utilized to divert water away from the fireplace.
TripleSafe Sump Pump Finished Install
A 24-inch basin is constructed through the foundation floor, allowing water to descend into the sump pump liner. Upon water entry, our tri-pump system engages. The primary pump manages regular water volumes. The secondary pump kicks in for higher water levels, often during intense rain or snowmelt. In events like power outages, a battery-powered backup pump activates when the other pumps cannot function.
Exterior Discharge Line with IceGuard
To expel water from the home, an exterior discharge line runs from the sump pump to the backyard. The system is cored through the foundation and buried underground. IceGuard is attached to the discharge line to prevent water from freezing in the pipe, thus avoiding backups that could lead to basement flooding.
