Concrete Chipping
The crew started work on the project by chipping out concrete to make space for WaterGuard, TrenchLock, and the feed line.
Setting the Systems in Crushed Stone
All the systems are encased in crushed stone to ensure proper flow to the sump basin.
WaterGuard Finished Install
WaterGuard is installed to the perimeter of the basement, collecting water before being exposed to the basement floor or walls.
TrenchLock Finished Install
TrenchLock was installed in front of the doorway and around the utilities in the basement since WaterGuard is inaccessible in these regions. TrenchLock connects to the WaterGuard system to continue the flow of water to the sump basin. Other surface drainage systems can potentially expose the basement to radon, a harmful gas. Our TrenchLock technology prevents gasses from coming up from the ground, while still being able to harness water.
Feed Line Finished Install
When a large amount of drainage system is installed in a basement, a feed line is sometimes installed to help evenly distribute the water.
WaterGuard Connected to the Sump Pump
WaterGuard delivers the water to the sump pump system, which pumps water out of the home through a discharge system.
