Concrete Chipping
In order to allow space for WaterGuard and TrenchLock to be installed, the concrete along the basement border is trenched out.
WaterGuard Installation
WaterGuard is installed and then encased in crushed stone to ensure proper flow to the sump basin.
WaterGuard Cement Finish
After WaterGuard is installed, it is cemented into place.
TrenchLock Surface Drainage
TrenchLock surface drainage is installed in front of the bulkhead steps since WaterGuard cannot collect water in this location. TrenchLock connects to the WaterGuard system to continue the flow of water to the sump basin. Surface drainage systems can potentially expose a home to radon, which is a harmful gas that rises from the ground. TrenchLock is designed to prevent this from occurring, keeping the home safe. After the system is installed, it is cemented in place similarly to WaterGuard.
