Water Seepage in Basement
Prior to our installation, water puddled on the basement floor near the bulkhead entrance.
WaterGuard Drainage
WaterGuard is installed along the perimeter of the basement to capture water from the surrounding wet soil outside of the foundation.
TrenchLock Connecting to WaterGuard
TrenchDrain was installed in front of the bulkhead steps since WaterGuard is unable to be installed in this area. This photo demonstrates how TrenchDrain connects to the WaterGuard system before being cemented in place. It is able to collect water from the surface while also continuing the flow of water that was collected from WaterGuard.
TrenchLock with Radon Seal
TrenchLock trench drain inserts are specially designed to block unwanted ground air and gasses from entering the basement and ultimately your home. TrenchLock is an insert that can be installed in an existing trench drain that lets water down but does not allow air to come up.
SuperSump Sump Pump Installation
The WaterGuard system is connected to the sump basin to allow the UltraSump to pump all of the unwanted water out of the home. The UltraSump has a battery-powered backup pump to dispose of water at all times, even in the event of a power outage!
Discharge Line with Iceguard
In order for water to safely be removed from the home, a discharge line was installed from the sump pump to the side yard. IceGuard was installed within the plumbing system to prevent water from freezing in the PVC pipes. By doing so, the chance of basement flooding due to backed up pipes is eliminated.
