A homeowner in Gilmanton Iron Works, New Hampshire plans on finishing his basement in the near future as he starts his family. Realizing the importance of waterproofing the basement before finishing it, he reached out to Erison Foundation Solutions to permanently keep the basement dry. Our System Design Specialist, Bryan Barnard, recommended installing NexusPro crack repair, WaterGuard perimeter drainage, TrenchDrain surface drainage, TripleSafe sump pump, and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. This combination of systems ensures that the basement is protected from water while also providing a comfortable and temperate climate. This homeowner now has peace of mind that his future investment is protected.

Crack Seal

NexusPro is applied to the cracks in the basement floor to prevent water from seeping through it.

Perimeter Drainage

WaterGuard is installed along the perimeter of the basement to capture water and direct it to the sump basin.

Surface Drainage

TrenchDrain is installed along the bulkhead steps since WaterGuard is unable to be installed there. It connects to the WaterGuard system to create a continuous flow of water to the sump basin.

Sump Pump System and Dehumidifier

Our three-pump system, including primary, secondary, and battery-powered backup pump allow for large amounts of water to be pumped out of the home at all times. Once the Waterguard system delivers the water to the sump basin, our pumps remove the water out of the home through a discharge line. The SaniDry Sedona is installed to the sump system to automatically drain all the moisture that it collects.

IceGuard

IceGuard is installed to the exterior discharge line to prevent water freezing in the PVC pipes. This eliminates the possibility of the discharge system backing up and flooding the basement.

LawnScape Well

The LawnScape Well is attached to the end of the discharge system to deter leaves, animals, and debris when possible. This lawn outlet system also features a removable lid that allows for cleaning.
