Basement Perimeter Drainage
The WaterGuard system is installed along the perimeter of the basement to collect water and filter it to the sump pump.
Basement Surface Drainage
TrenchDrain is installed in areas where WaterGuard is inaccessible. In this scenario, TrenchDrain was installed to divert water around the hot water heater and other utilities. This surface drainage connects to the WaterGuard system to continue the flow of water to the sump pump.
Sump Pump Installation
The TripleSafe sump pump system is combined of three pumps, each with a different purpose. The first pump functions to pump average day-to-day levels of water out of the home. When water levels are high, a second pump is activated to ensure the sump basin doesn't overflow. Lastly, the battery-powered backup pump operates in emergency situations such as a power outage.
Discharge System
IceGuard was added to the discharge line to prevent water from freezing. When water in the discharge line freezes, there is a possibility that pipes get backed up and flood the basement.
