Photo Album: Foundation Support and Waterproofing in Bedford, NH

A homeowner in Bedford, New Hampshire wants to protect the front half of his finished basement before leaking in the foundation got worse. Looking to ensure the safety of personal belongings, he reached out to Erickson Foundation Solutions. Our Design Specialist, Victor Tapia, recommended installing WaterGuard perimeter drainage, TripleSafe sump pump system, and PowerBrace wall repair system. This system was designed to capture water along the perimeter of the basement and filter it to the sump pump, removing water from the home. Additionally, the PowerBrace system supports and stabilizes the foundation wall to prevent leaning, bowing, and cracking. With these systems in place, the basement is waterproofed and supported.

Basement Perimeter Drainage

WaterGuard is installed around the perimeter of the basement to collect water from outside wet soil. This prevents seepage through foundation walls and floors.

Sump Pump System

The TripleSafe sump pump system is composed of three pumps. This three-pump system is designed to pump high water levels out of the home, even during a power outage. With the addition of a battery-powered backup pump, you can have peace of mind that water will always be properly disposed of.

Basement Drainage

This photo features our IceGuard system. It is installed to the exterior discharge line to prevent pipes from freezing, preventing basement floods. The exterior discharge line that is added to the IceGuard system is the vessel that removes water out of the basement. It is buried in a safe location away from the home.
