French Drain Preparation
In order to make space for the WaterGuard system, concrete is chipped out around the perimeter of the basement.
Basement Drainage Flow
Once concrete is removed, crushed stone is added to keep the WaterGuard system in place to ensure that water flows properly to the sump pump system.
Basement Drainage Installation
WaterGuard is installed along the perimeter of the foundation to collect unwanted water.
Basement Waterproofing Concrete Finish
Once the system is tested, it is then cemented into place. This gives the system more stability and provides a better-looking finish.
Basement Surface Drainage
In some situations, WaterGuard cannot be installed in certain areas. For these homeowners, we installed TrenchDrain to redirect water around an oil tank, hot water heater, and stairs. This system connects to WaterGuard to ultimately deliver the water to the sump pump.
Sump Pump Installation
The TripleSafe three-pump system pumps can handle various water levels entering the sump basin. With a battery-backup powered pump, water will even get pumped out of the home during loss of power.
Foundation Wall Crack Repair
FlexiSpan was used to seal a foundation wall crack. This waterproofs the crack and diverts water to the WaterGuard system if the crack was to worsen in the future.
Exterior Discharge Plumbing
An exterior drainage line is added to the TripleSafe sump pump in order to plumb water out of the home. IceGuard is attached to the plumbing to prevent pipes from freezing. This eliminates the possibility of pipes getting backed up and flooding the basement.
