This homeowner in Chelmsford, MA was concerned with water entering through one of their basement walls. Their basement space was used for lots of storage, and they needed a solution that would protect their items and fix their home.
Our specialists designed and installed a waterproofing system incorporating both a vapor barrier for the wall and a sump pump system for catching and removing all the moisture and water at the base of the wall. Installation of the entire project took just one day. The team first installed the Cleanspace moisture barrier over the wall that always felt damp and wet to the homeowner. This encapsulation would help contain the moisture in the basement and force it down the wall into the perimeter drainage channel. From here, water flows into the TripleSafe sump pump, and ultimately out of the basement. The sump pump system is complete with a battery backup for emergency power outage situations.
With the sump pump and vapor barrier in place, the homeowner can look forward to having a dry basement without having to worry about flooding or moisture.
