Photo Album: Water Entering Basement Through Crack in Foundation, Temple, NH
A homeowner in Temple, New Hampshire, has lived in their home for the past 20 years. Since living here they have seen some water entering the basement. Years ago they regraded the yard which helped with the issue but the problem is getting worse again. Now they decided to call EFS for a free inspection of their basement to find a solution to stop the water from entering. Our Design Specialist Bryan Barnard examined the basement and recommended installing a SuperSump, WaterGuard, IceGuard, Crack Injection, and SaniDry Sedona into the basement to prevent water from entering the basement.
Our installation team began by chipping out concrete along the leaky wall so we could install our sump pump and perimeter drainage. After we installed the drainage and sump pump we plumbed the system to the exterior of the home where we installed our IceGuard and exterior drianage. This will carry the water from the system away from the home so it cannot re-enter the home. Next, the team sealed each crack with crack injection and then mixed up concrete to lock the drainage system into place. Once the concrete cured the team then installed our SaniDry Sedona next to the sump pump to set the discharge line into the basin.
With the system complete the team took the homeowner on a final walkthrough to show them everything that was installed and to answer any questions. They were very pleased that they didn't have to worry about water entering their basement anymore.
