Photo Album: Bowing Foundation Wall, Northwood, NH
A homeowner in Northwood, New Hampshire, had EFS come out to their home a couple of years ago because they had noticed their foundation wall was bowing inward. Our team installed PowerBraces on that side of the basement to eliminate the bowing and stabilize the foundation. Now a couple of years later, the other side of the foundation was bowing. The homeowners called EFS to come back out and install more PowerBraces on the other side of the basement.
Our installation team led by Ryan Champagne began by marking where each of our 8 PowerBraces will be installed against the foundation wall. Once they were marked out our team installed an L bracket on the floor and an adjustable top bracket to the floor joists so we could install each of the braces and support the foundation wall. We installed each of the PowerBraces and then used the top bracket to tighten the PowerBrace against the wall so we could stabilize the foundation wall.
The homeowner was very pleased with the installation of the second round of PowerBraces in their basement.
