Photo Album: Water Entering Basement, Wellesley, MA

A homeowner in Wellesley, Massachusetts, just purchased their home and had immediately noticed water seeping into their basement. They don't want to have water coming into the basement of their new home so they reached out to Erickson Foundation Solutions for a free inspection of their basement. Our Design Specialist Scott Ruisi met with homeowners and looked at the basement and around the foundation of the home to determine a proper solution for this homeowner. After a complete inspection, Scott recommended installing 2 TripleSafes, 4 IceGuards, 40 feet of Exterior Drainage Line, and a SaniDry Sedona into the basement to pump out any water from the basement.  Our installation team led by Anthony LoCascio began by chipping out two sections of concrete for our sump pump basins. We removed enough dirt so our basin will sit flush with the concrete. The team installed the basin and then installed the 3 pumps in the basin. After the 3 pumps were installed the team then plumbed the system to the exterior of the home where we installed 4 IceGuards to the exterior of the home. Then we installed 40 feet of drainage beneath the patio at the back of the home. This will carry the water away from the home to keep the basement dry. After the drainage was installed we buried the drainage line and returned to the basement. Inside the basement, we mixed concrete so we could pour concrete around the TripleSafe sump pumps to lock them into place.  After the project, the homeowners were given a walkthrough of the system and they were very pleased with the results of the project.
