Photo Album: Outside Water Entering Their Basement, Manchester, NH
A homeowner in Manchester, New Hampshire, lives in a home built in the 1960s. They purchased the home in the 1970s and have had an issue with outside water entering their home for a long time. After dealing with this issue for a long time they decided to call EFS for a free inspection of their basement. Our Design Specialist Bryan Barnard met with the homeowner and talked to them about their concerns and goals for this project. After the conversation, Bryan inspected the basement to find a solution. Once his inspection was complete Bryan then recommended installing WaterGuard, TripleSafe, IceGuard, and Exterior Drainage Line to collect any water from inside the basement and pump it out away from the foundation of the home.
Our installation team led by Gunther and Paul began by chipping out 50' of concrete around the perimeter of the basement so we could install our WaterGuard and TripleSafe. After we installed the perimeter drainage and sump pump we then plumbed the sump to the exterior of the home where we installed our IceGuard and EDL. The IceGuard was installed to the side of the home and our EDL was buried in the yard to carry water away from the home discretely.
The homeowners were very pleased with the results of the project.
