Photo Album: Failing Foundation Wall Beneath Porch, Merrimack, NH
A home in Merrimack, New Hampshire, was built in 2010. About a year and a half ago the home was purchased. Soon after they moved in they noticed cracking the foundation wall below their back porch. The homeowners have young children so they wanted to find a solution for this as quickly as possible. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection of their foundation. Our Design Specialist Liam FitzPatrick met with the homeowners and inspected the foundation. After his inspection, Liam recommended installing 3 Push Piers and 3 Geolocks on the foundation wall to stabilize the porch.
Our installation team led by Neal Foley began by excavating the dirt away from the foundation of the home. After removing the dirt the team installed the 3 Push Piers to the bottom of the foundation wall. After the piers were installed the team then moved on to installing our Geolocks. The team installed the 3 Geolocks on the foundation to stabilize the wall. After both the Geolocks and Push Piers were installed the team backfilled the dirt against the foundation and finished the job.
