Photo Album: Concrete Lifting for Patio and Garage, Merrimack, NH
The concrete skirt outside the garage on this home in Merrimack was cracked and settling. The homeowner had replaced the concrete here once already in the past, and was looking for a solution which would not require having to repour the concrete again. Our team designed and proposed a solution utilizing PolyLevel, an improved version of mudjacking, and the homeowner was glad to have an alternative available. After the polymer foam was installed and stabilized the concrete entrance to the garage, the cracks that had formed due to shifting and sinking were sealed with NexusPro. This silicone based caulking is ideal for exterior applications and will prevent unwanted water from flowing beneath the concrete and into the soil base.
While at the home, our team also looked at the concrete patio behind the house, where the slabs had shifted and settled over the years. In this section, our team installed PolyLevel as well, and was able to lift the sunken areas half and inch, which enabled water on the surface to flow off the side rather than pool in the middle.
The concrete around this home is now repaired and protected, giving this homeowner some peace of mind.
Protecting Concrete Surfaces
After pouring a new concrete skirt several years ago, the entrance to the garage still had issues with settlement and cracking.
Garage Slab Repairs
The entrance to this garage had settled and cracked. Rather than tear out and replace, our team injected PolyLevel to stabilize concrete by filling the voids underneath it. The cracks on the surface were then sealed with NexusPro silicone.
Uneven Concrete Patio
The patio had shifted and settled about a half inch, which led to cracks forming on the surface. It also allowed water to pool in the middle.
Concrete Lifting
No concrete had to be removed in order to complete the lifting repairs. The small port holes were filled, and once the residue is washed away, there will be little to no sign of work having been done. This process saves time and money.
Concrete Repair Process
Our concrete repair specialist is drilling dime sized holes throughout the surface of the patio. These holes will allow for injection of PolyLevel, a polymer foam which will completely fill the voids beneath the concrete. It's the ideal solution for repairing uneven concrete which requires no demolition, and is simply quick, clean, and efficient.
