Photo Album: Draft and Moisture in Crawlspace, Stoneham, MA

This homeowner in Stoneham, Massachusetts, had lived in their late 1920s home for the past 4 years. After they purchased the home they noticed a significant draft and moisture. The crawlspace had been causing cold floors and the homeowners wanted to find a solution. They called EFS for a free inspection and our Design Specialist Tom Armano met with the homeowners and talked to them about their concerns. After his conversation with the homeowners, Tom then inspected the crawlspace and recommended installing CleanSpace, TerraBlock, SaniDry Sedona, and PolyLevel Wall Restoration into the crawlspace to address the draft and moisture concerns.  Our installation team began by removing any debris from inside the crawlspace. After the debris was removed the team then the team began installing PolyLevel Wall Restoration along the foundation wall in the crawlspace to prevent air from entering the crawlspace and creating drafts. After the poly was installed the team then installed TerraBlock and CleanSpace throughout the crawlspace. After the crawlspace was encapsulated with CleanSpace and TerraBlock, the last item the team installed was our SaniDry Sedona into the crawlspace to control the humidity in the crawlspace.  At the conclusion of the project, the homeowners were happy with the results.
