The owner of this commercial property in North Hampton, NH had recently poured a large concrete surface on the exterior of their building. The concrete was cured and dried and in great condition, and the owner was looking for a contractor to apply a sealant to protect the concrete and make it last. Within the overhead door, there was also a concern of voids forming under the concrete slab, something the owner wanted to have addressed before settlement occurred and cracks formed.
For installation, our production team first injected PolyLevel under the slab within the warehouse. The process was quick and efficient, allowing them business to continue to use their warehouse space while our team completed the exterior sealant process.
Our team then focused on the outside, and first cleaned and pressure washed the concrete slab to ensure no dirt or grime would interfere with the application of the SealantPro product. Once the slab was dry, SealantPro was then sprayed on evenly throughout, and product which binds with the concrete and seals up the pours, preventing water from penetrating the slab and causing damage to the concrete or erosion beneath it. To add even another level of protection against erosion and future settlement concerns, all the joints were sealed with NexusPro, a silicone based caulking specifically designed for exterior concrete applications. With the joints properly sealed, rain water can no longer flow directly beneath the slab or cause erosion of the base soils underneath the concrete.
With their new concrete surface protected, this owner has peace of mind that their investment is protected for years to come.
Concrete Joint Sealant
NexusPro was used to seal all the joints on the surface of the concrete. This will help prevent unwanted rainwater from easily flowing beneath the concrete and causing erosion of the supporting soils beneath it.
Concrete Stabilization
There were early signs of concrete settlement with small cracks showing. The owner decided to take action and install PolyLevel to fill all the voids beneath the slab and prevent any further settlement or cracking. The process is quick and clean, requiring just a quick sweeping for clean-up.
Protecting the New Concrete Slab
SealantPro was applied to the surface of the new concrete slab outside the warehouse. The sealant binds with the slab and absorbs into the porous concrete, preventing water from flowing into the material. This extends the life of the concrete and helps prevent erosion or settlement concerns as water flows beneath the slab.
