A homeowner in Londonderry, New Hampshire, wanted to have the crawlspace in their home encapsulated. They have lived in the home since 1998 and want to have the crawlspace encapsulated so they could then replace the floor beam to fix their floors. The homeowners reached out to EFS for a free inspection of the crawlspace. Our Design Specialist Tom Armano met with the homeowners and inspected the crawlspace. After his inspection, Tom recommended installing 160ft of SmartPipe around the perimeter of the crawlspace, a SmartSump, IceGuard, 1735 sqft of CleanSpace, and a SaniDry Sedona into the crawlspace.
Our installation team led by Abdou Taal began by installing the SmartPipe and SmartSump into the crawlspace. After installing 160' of perimeter drainage and a sump pump the team then plumbed the sump to the exterior of the home where we installed our IceGuard and Exterior Drainage Line. After the drainage line was installed the team then returned to the crawlspace to install the encapsulation into the crawlspace. Abdou and the team installed 1735 sqft of CleanSpace into the crawlspace to encapsulate the entire space. After the crawlspace was fully encapsulated, the final device installed was the dehumidifier to control the humidity in the crawlspace.
The homeowners were very impressed with the systems that EFS installed into their crawlspace.
