Photo Album: Older Home Needs Additional Supports, North Chelmsford, MA

This homeowner in North Chelmsford, Massachusetts, has lived in their 1930s home for the past 30 years. This home is their forever home and they want to maintain the home. To do this, they wanted to add extra support posts into their crawlspace to keep peace of mind about the structure of their home. The homeowners found our company online. Looked at our website and found a product that they were interested in. They reached out to EFS and scheduled an appointment with our Desing Specialist Kenny Calabrese. Kenny met with the homeowners and talked to them about our SmartJacks. The area that the homeowners were concerned with was an addition off the back of their home. Their father had installed wooden supports under the addition years ago and the homeowners would like to replace those wooden supports with SmartJacks. So Kenny inspected the addition and designed a plan to install 6 SmartJacks and 2 Supplemental Beams under the floor of the addition.  Our installation team led by Anthony Locascio began by crawling into the crawlspace and planning out where each SmartJacks would be installed. Anthony and his team then cut the SmartJacks and Supplemental beams to the correct size and installed them.
