Photo Album: Water Entering Basement, Moultonborough, NH

A homeowner in Moultonborough, New Hampshire, bought the home in 1986. During early spring showers, the homeowners noticed water collecting in their basement. They saw water in the basement a few times before it flooded in May. After they pumped the water out of the basement they decided to call EFS to look at their basement to prevent further flooding. Our Design Jason Vachon met with the owners of the home and thoroughly inspected the basement to find any areas that seemed to allowing water into the home. At the conclusion of Jason's inspection, he recommended installing a full perimeter drainage system into the basement to collect and pump out any water that threatened to enter the basement.  Our Installation Team led by Gunther and Paul, began by chipping out the concrete around the entire perimeter of the basement to allow us to install our WaterGuard and SuperSump. After the concrete was chipped out, the team installed 108' of WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement and then installed the SuperSump into the corner of the basement. Once the perimeter drainage and sump pump were installed the team then plumbed the sump to the exterior of the home where we installed the IceGuard and Drainage Line. After the system was plumbed to the exterior of the home the team then mixed up concrete and covered the perimeter drainage system and sump pump. After the concrete cures, the team lastly installs our SaniDry to control the humidity in the basement.
