Photo Album: Lifting Settling Pool Deck, Shrewsbury, MA
This homeowner was concerned with the way their pool deck had settled and cracked around their inground pool in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. They often had their grandchildren over to use the pool, and the trip hazards were a bit unsafe for family to deal with around the pools edge.
Our team was able to successfully lift the sunken concrete slab back up to a level position without having to disturb the landscaping or surface of the concrete. PolyLevel was injected through tiny portholes so that a polymer foam could access and fill the voids in the soil beneath the concrete section that had settled. As the PolyLevel foam expanded, the slab lifted right up as planned. The crack on the surface was then sealed with NexusPro, which will prevent more rain water from flowing beneath the slab in this area, adding another level of protection for this homeowner.
The results were great and the project took less than half a day. The homeowner had their pool area back for use within minutes of installation, and will have a safe pool deck for their family for years to come.

Lifting Concrete With PolyLevel
Our PolyLevel product was used to lift and level this section of the concrete pool deck. In this photo, you can see how the foam filled the voids and penetrated up to the surface. This will be cleaned and removed, leaving no sign of work having been done.
