Photo Album: Protect Mobile Home Floors from Moisture and Sagging, Merrimack, NH

The owner of a Mobile Home in Merrimack, New Hampshire has lived in the home since 1997. The homeowners want to maintain everything in their home so it last for a long time. About 10 years ago the homeowners noticed a change in the wood floors of their home. They have become worried about preserving their beautiful hardwood floors so they don't have to replace them. The homeowner would like to have the supports under their home looked at by EFS to see if they need to be replaced. Our Design Specialist Liam FitzPatrick met with the homeowner and inspected the supports under the mobile home to see if they had sunk or shifted. When Liam was under the home he noticed that some of the supports had shifted and the space under the home had some lingering moisture that could seep into the home and potentially ruin the floors. Liam recommended replacing the supports under the mobile home, CleanSpace to separate the home from the soil, and a SaniDry to control the moisture under the home.  Our Installation Team led by Nick Carelli began by setting up some temporary posts under the home. After the temp posts were set up the team began removing supports and replacing them with our new supports. After the supports were installed the team proceeded to install 900sqft of Terrablock and CleanSpace under the home to separate the soil from beneath the home. The CleanSpace will leave the space with a cleaner look and prevent moisture from seeping up into the home from the soil below. Lastly, we installed a SaniDry Sedona in the area under the home to control the moisture under the mobile home.  The homeowner was relieved they don't have to worry about their floors being ruined by shifting supports or moisture coming from outside their home.
