Photo Album: Water Entering Basement Near Bulkhead, Temple NH

A homeowner in Temple, New Hampshire was facing the problem of water entering their basement near the bulkhead. As they did not have any waterproofing installed, they were concerned about potential flooding and damage to their belongings. To address this issue, the homeowner contacted EFS for a free inspection of their basement. Our Design Specialist, Isaac Hernandez, assessed the situation and recommended the installation of a SuperSump, WaterGuard, and an Exterior Drainage System to collect any water that entered the basement. Our Installation Team, led by Steve Dumais, began the process by removing concrete near the bottom of the bulkhead. This allowed for the installation of a section of WaterGuard and our SuperSump. Five feet of WaterGuard was installed and connected to the sump pump to collect any incoming water. Once the drainage and sump pump was set up, the team then plumbed the pump to the exterior of the home. An IceGuard and 5' of Exterior Drainage Line were installed to carry water away from the foundation of the home. After the drainage line was put in place, the team mixed concrete and poured it over the perimeter drainage and around the sump pump basin. The homeowner was delighted with the results of the waterproofing job and no longer had to worry about water entering the basement from the bulkhead and causing damage.
