Photo Album: Water Consistently Entering Basement, Exeter, NH
A resident of Exeter, New Hampshire had been facing the problem of water accumulation in their basement for three years. Finally, they decided to contact EFS for a free inspection of their home. Our Design Specialist, Victor Tapia, examined the house and suggested that a perimeter drainage system be installed. This system would collect water from the basement and pump it out of the house and away from the foundation using our sump pump.
Our Installation Team, headed by Branden Edwards, began the installation process by chipping out the entire perimeter of the basement and an area for our sump pump. The team then installed the WaterGuard drainage and TripleSafe sump pump. Once the pumps were installed, the team plumbed the system to the exterior of the house where they laid an exterior drainage line that extended 70' into the backyard. The team covered the line with dirt after laying it in a trench created by an excavator. Finally, the team laid the perimeter drainage and covered it with concrete.
The homeowner was extremely satisfied with the results of the project as they have not faced any water accumulation in their basement since the installation of the system.
