Photo Album: Heavy Rains Penetrating into Basement, Bedford, MA
A homeowner residing in Bedford, Massachusetts, has been living in their home for a year and has experienced leakage in the basement during heavy rainfall. Although the water had only entered a couple of times, the homeowner was selling the property and did not want this to affect the sale. To address this, they contacted EFS for a free inspection. Design Specialist Tom Armano inspected the basement and recommended a TripleSafe sump pump to prevent water penetration during heavy rains.
The Installation Team, led by Branden Edwards, began by removing concrete from the lowest part of the basement and installing the TripleSafe basin to collect water from above and below the slab. The pump was then fitted flush with the concrete, and the team proceeded to plumb the system to the exterior of the home, installing an IceGuard and an Exterior Drainage Line to direct the water away from the house. Once the plumbing was completed, the team mixed and poured concrete around the sump pump to secure it in place.
The homeowners were now assured of selling their property at top dollar.
